Showcase Commitment Forms

Spring Showcase "Let's Get Loud" Commitment Form
On October 1st, we will be handing out our Spring Showcase Commitment Form. We are asking for parents to let us know if your child will or will not be performing in our 2 day showcase. All forms will be due NO LATER than October 14th!

Audition Reminder!!!

2014 Spring Showcase 
Solo, Duo, Trio Auditions
Sunday, September 29th, 2013
at 2:00pm


All students planning to audition must be enrolled in 3 or more classes and must be 8 years of age or older (no exceptions). Students must come prepared; already dressed in the correct dance attire and have a 30 second dance routine with music ready, that they created,  to be performed in front of the judges. After students perform their routine, they will be shown 2 short combos that they must complete to see how quickly they process and perform choreography. Once all auditions have been completed, the judges will place the students either in a solo, duo, or trio based on age, abilities, and dance style. All students and their parents must sign a contract stating they intend to practice, and perform said dance at the Showcase in the Spring. All students will have choreography taught to them in a span of 5 lessons.

Welcome S1D2 New and Returning Students!!!

We are ecstatic to be starting our 2013-2014 Studio Year in our new space!! We anticipate an incredibly successful, fun year while challenging our amazing students to their full potentials! Our goals are to help each student build confidence, self-esteem, strength, flexibility, and an appreciation for the art of dance and movement. S1D2 is a place of encouragement where students will learn and grow in movement, performance, and self-assurance. We are thrilled that all classes are really taking off, and we are eager to have so many new students, as well as our amazing returning students in class. 
All CLASSES WILL BEGIN ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 9th, and we still have a few students that need some paperwork signed before they can participate in class, so if you have yet to come in and sign off, please do so when you drop your child off. We are also doing a drawing that you can submit your name/phone number into, and have a chance to win a free 1 months tuition for one class, a free tutu, or a free S1D2 shirt. And if you have yet to receive a blue goody bag from one of the staff members, please feel free to grab one during the week.


S1D2 Policies For 2013/2014 Dance Year


Tuition- Dance tuition is due the 1st - 7th of EACH month, October-April. A late fee of $10.00 per child is automatically applied to each account that is paid after the 7th. A flat monthly tuition rate applies whether there is 3, 4, or 5 weeks in a month. Lessons will be suspended for accounts 60 days past due. We gladly accept Visa, Master, and Discover Cards, as well as checks, money orders, and cash. Cash payments should only be made at the studio so a receipt can be processed. Tuition payments are non-refundable.

Returned Check/Non-Payment- All returned checks are subject to a $25 processing fee. This fee will automatically be applied to your account. Students will not be able to participate in class until balance is paid.

Absentees- There is no adjustments for missed lessons. Please refer to our attendance policy for further information.

Class Withdrawal- You are responsible for all aspects of class participation unless a class withdrawal form is received. Withdrawal forms are available in the waiting room. You are responsible for tuition unless the form is handed in before the 1st of the month.
